Requirements
The Timothy Program is more than a program, it's a way of life!
Bible, Prayer Log and Scripture Memorization
We seek to encourage each student to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ by way of reading the Bible, memorizing Scripture & praying on a regular basis. A regular, consistent written Bible & Prayer log is expected. (1 Timothy 4:7-8; 2 Peter 3:18; Ephesians 4:14-15; 1 Thessalonians 5:17)

Each Timothy will work with their Timothy Advisor to determine personal goals in this area that are challenging, yet attainable.
Church Attendance and Sermon Notes
Each student is to be committed to regularly attending their local church. Sermon notes will be expected to show they are listening and learning. (Hebrews 10:25; 1 Timothy 4: 7-8, 12-13)

If you are unable to consistently attend church for any reason, your Timothy Advisor will be able to assist you in finding alternatives to fulfill this requirement. However, if you are able, we ask that you to be attending church and taking sermon notes.
Christian Service
We hold each student accountable to become involved in service and leadership through their local church. Depending on their maturity, either a weekly service or serving at special events a few times throughout the year will be expected. (1 Timothy 4:12, 14a; 1 Corinthians 12: 4-7)

We require anywhere from two to four Christian services throughout the year, depending on experience. These services can be a variety of different things, your advisor will assist you in knowing where to start.
Timothy Groups
Each student is expected to be growing in knowledge of the Word through their local Timothy group. Each student will need to commit to attending anywhere from eleven to thirteen Timothy meetings throughout the school year. At these meetings you can expect sound Bible instruction, prayer times, and fellowship with other believers you age. Consistent attendance and completion of lessons is expected. (2 Timothy 2:15; Ephesians 4:14-15)

If there is not a Timothy group in your area, you may complete this requirement through out out-of-area Timothy Program.
Evangelism
It is our hope that each student becomes actively involved in evangelizing their friends and peers. Participation in Outreach Events provided by the local church and/or Shiloh Bible Camp is encouraged. (2 Timothy 4:1-5; Acts 1:8; Matthew 28:18-20)

It is our desire to see each Timothy actively evangelizing their peers, and impacting them for Jesus Christ.
Serving at Shiloh
At the end of the Timothy year, each student that has successfully completed the program is invited to serve as a Timothy at Shiloh for a week or more during the summer. Under the supervision of a cabin leader you will be working directly with the campers impacting them for Jesus Christ. You will also be working with your Timothy team, under the direction of the Timothy Coordinator washing dishes, cleaning bathrooms, serving food, etc. Working at camp you will learn the value of servanthood.
