To our faithful Shiloh family,
As many of you have heard, Nathan and Meagan Bath are following the Lord's leading and moving on from full-time ministry with Shiloh. They faithfully served at Shiloh for many many years and we are sad to say goodbye. During their time at Shiloh, we have seen hundreds of children come to saving faith in Jesus Christ, and thousands of children and their families impacted by Shiloh's ministry. The Baths will be greatly missed, but we trust that the Lord will continue to use them to bring glory to His name as they follow His leading in their lives.
The Shiloh Board of Directors has appointed Mike Crase as the new Executive Director of Shiloh Bible Conference. He has ten years of experience serving in both public and international education, along with experience serving as a full-time missionary in Asia. We are eager to see how the Lord will use Mike's skills to further the impact of Shiloh's ministry. Mike's bio can be found here. Taylor Rae Morris, who has been a camper, Timothy, and summer missionary at Shiloh, will serve as the Timothy Coordinator. We are very excited to have Taylor Rae as part of our staff.
As for Shiloh's future, we can't help but notice that the Lord is using this season of change as a season of growth. Last month, The Thomas Foundation donated $50,000 toward the construction of a gym/athletic center. We now have $80,000 of the estimated $300,000 needed to complete the project. Lord willing, we will break ground on the project in Spring 2018. This new building and future gym will allow Shiloh to offer more year round activities. Shiloh is also in negotiations to acquire a neighboring building and eighty-one additional acres.
Our goal is to utilize the facility entrusted to us to glorify God and impact as many people for Christ as possible. Please pray with us that we will use our resources wisely to impact the Kingdom of God. If you feel led to partner with us financially, please do so here.
We will also be maintaining a needs list online. By being open with all of our current and future needs, both small and great, we are hopeful that the Lord will use His people to provide all that Shiloh needs so that more people can be reached for Christ.
We are thankful to be partnering with you, our faithful Shiloh supporters, and we look forward to sharing the ministry of Shiloh with even more brothers and sisters who share our passion to see Shiloh utilized for Christ. To God be the glory!
